Do I need a referral?


A referral is not necessary unless you are claiming your treatment through a compensable body such as DVA, Workcover, Motor Vehicle Accident or Medicare (EPC).




How long are initial appointments?


Please allow 45 minutes.




Do I need to bring X-rays or medical notes with me?


If you have any reports or x-rays/scans it is helpful if you bring them with you to the appointment.




What can I expect on my first appointment?


Your physiotherapist will discuss your issue and then perform an assessment to help determine the best course of treatment and advice.




How many treatments will I need?


Each client is different. Your physiotherapist will discuss this following your initial assessment.




What are your payment terms?


Payment is made after each consultation, either by credit card, eftpos or cash. Please contact us for an up-to-date list of charges.




Can I claim through my health fund?


We have HICAPS facilities, so bring your health fund card with you to the appointment and we can claim on your behalf. You will be required only to pay the remaining gap. This may vary between health funds and will depend on your level of cover. We are recognised by all major insurance companies and provide HICAPS allowing you to claim your health fund rebate instantly should you have extras cover.




Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare?


You may be eligible to receive a Medicare subsidy under the Chronic Disease Management program. This is determined by your GP.




What should I wear?


Please bring comfortable clothes, like a t-shirt and shorts. We can provide spare shorts and gowns in case you forget.





Cancellation Policy

 

Missed appointments will set you back in your recovery, so we ask that you keep all your appointments wherever possible. If an appointment must be changed, 24 hours notice is appreciated.

 

All missed appointments or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may incur a cancellation fee.
