    All our programs are tailored to meet the needs of the client, leading to a superior experience. This approach coupled with the latest evidence-based research, returns lasting results.
  • How are we different to regular Pilates?
    Clients are only assessed and managed by a physiotherapist who has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in Clinical Pilates. Physiotherapists are highly skilled clinicians who deal with musculoskeletal complaints, such as chronic back and neck pain.
  • Who would benefit from Clinical Pilates?
    Over 80 percent of the population will experience lower back pain. As such, a vast majority of people would benefit from a structured Clinical Pilates program & education. Our clients vary from hi-performance athletes to those recovering from surgery and everyday injuries.
  • Can Clinical Pilates help people with non-injuries?
    Yes. We provide services to a wide range of non-injury related needs, such as fitness, postural correction, pre & post-natal exercise and pre-season sports injury preventation programmes.
  • What to expect during an initial appointment?
    We perform a detail assessment to determine the best course of action based on our evaluation and your goals. This involves assessing what movement patterns both aggravate and alleviate individuals pain or dysfunction. A program is then prescribed utilising home-based Pilates exercises and/or specialised equipment in our private Pilates studio.
  • How are Clinical Pilates programs progressed?
    You will be progressed through a series of levels according to your assessment findings and goals. Once your initial goal of either decreased pain or better movement is achieved, we progress to more functional based exercise. For an optimal outcome, the overwhelming evidence suggests corrective changes to aggravating activities is the best way to overcome chronic back and neck related pain. This innovative approach of combining Pilates, functional exercise and biomechanics is why we are so effective at achieving long term positive outcomes.
  • What equipment do we use?
    Our studio utilisies high-end reformers and trapeze tables. Clients are instructed on the use of these specialised pieces of equipment.
  • Can I use the equipment individually?
    Yes. We encourage all our clients to use our studio facilities independently once they become proficient.

Cancellation Policy

 

Missed appointments will set you back in your recovery, so we ask that you keep all your appointments wherever possible. If an appointment must be changed, 24 hours notice is appreciated.

 

All missed appointments or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may incur a cancellation fee.
